The low, flat and widened heel now has a removable Hyperlift insole that fits under the midsole and increases the height difference between the heel and toes (by 6 mmm for women and 8 mm for men) and improves stability when doing squats or weight training . Without an insole, the height difference between the heel and toes on Metcon models is 4 mm. A more durable pattern extending beyond the outer sole is adapted for climbing a rope and provides traction and impact protection. Targeted traction under the foot and on the sides allows for faster pushes and climbing, and the slim TPU heel counter makes it easy to do push-ups against the wall.
